Lenses For Life

We view the world around us – and the people in it – through lenses.

Our focus is often limited to a tiny part of the whole. We see snippets and tidbits of other people’s lives.

We don’t know – let alone understand – the rest.

But we have a choice. To zoom out with our lenses to learn more about them… or zoom in tighter to view their actions in greater depth and detail.

Both give us more insight. Richer data. Wider perspective. And help us develop empathy.

Because now, we actually begin to understand them better.

So next time you see somebody, think about the lens through which you’re looking. And then, reach out for the lever that controls its zoom – and twist it
